This Liber Amicorum for Hubertus Schulte Herbrüggen, the renowned More scholar, deals with literature and the fine arts from the early Renaissance to the present day. In addition to articles on Thomas More’s (1477/8-1535) life, works and posthumous fame, it includes contributions discussing various European humanists, utopias and dystopias, and the notion of More as a literary figure.
